These are some of the new DVDs released this week, the ones I find interesting or of note.
Django Unchained is the lone major release this week. I haven't seen Repo Man in a very long time but I like it so I may track down a copy and watch it again. I really liked Ford Madox Ford's book The Good Soldier and would like to see the movie version of Parade's End (which I plan on reading sometime too).

Django Unchained, R Amazon
Jamie Foxx in director Quentin Tarantino's film set just before the Civil War. It won several Oscars.
Repo Man, R Amazon
The cult classic from 1984 stars Emilio Estevez as a punker looking for a mysterious car. Directed by Alex Cox.
Parade's End, Not Rated Amazon
The lives and loves of a World War One soldier. This is the 1964 film of Ford Madox Ford's classic book of the same name, stars Judi Dench and Ronald Hines.
Nova: Building Pharaoh's Chariot, Not Rated Amazon
I saw this on PBS, it was very interesting. Back in the day, chariots were high tech and Egypt had some of the best. A lot of thought and effort went into their design and making.
